Sancho and Reus Score for German Giants
Borussia Dortmund booked their spot in the Champions League quarterfinals with a 3-1 aggregate victory over PSV Eindhoven on Wednesday. Jadon Sancho and Marco Reus scored for the German giants in a 2-0 second-leg win at Signal Iduna Park.
Dortmund started the match brightly and took the lead through Sancho in the 12th minute. The English winger collected a pass from Reus and fired a low shot into the bottom corner from just outside the area.
PSV Eindhoven pushed for an equalizer in the second half but couldn't find a way past Dortmund's defense. Reus sealed the victory for the home side in the 89th minute, tapping in from close range after a cross from Sancho.
Dortmund will now face either Manchester City or Real Madrid in the quarterfinals. The first leg will be played on April 5, with the second leg scheduled for April 12.
